SCN Resistance – Nebraska farmers are able to submit soil samples for soybean cyst nematode analysis to UNL for free, thanks to the Nebraska Soybean Board. In 2014, Nebraska growers submitted 1,177 samples, with 36.7 percent positive for SCN. John Wilson, Nebraska Extension educator, explains how SCN management can become more difficult with resistance.
