Landlord/Tenant Workshops – Allan Vyhnalek, Nebraska Extension educator, outlines the 2015 Landlord/Tenant Cash Lease workshops offered in 12 Nebraska locations. The workshops are sponsored by the Nebraska Soybean Board.

Grain Storage – Nebraska farmers harvested more than 1.6 billion bushels of corn in 2014. Producers were storing 780 million bushels on farms as of December 1, 2014. Tamra Jackson-Ziems, Nebraska Extension plant pathologist, explains how growers can make sure stored grain stays in good quality. SCN Resistance – Nebraska farmers are able to submit soil samples for soybean cyst nematode analysis to UNL for free, thanks to the Nebraska Soybean Board. In 2014, Nebraska growers submitted 1,177 samples, with 36.7 percent positive for SCN. John Wilson, Nebraska Extension educator, explains how SCN management can become more difficult with resistance.
